Gratitude is that last thing on my mind when I catch an attitude...Thank God that other people's shining example still makes it way to my heart at those times. Sometimes when you feel like you have too much on your plate and that the people in your life are too little or too self centered to help it is hard to share gratitude that you feel is you should be receiving instead.

But then tough times hot and all of sudden you look around and see that your cart is filled with cherries, not lemons like you first suspected. You become grateful for what you have instead of mad because of what you think you are still owed...Okay so i'm still learning those lessons but thank God I'm learning ; )

Very cute site BTW. I"m going to post this link on my Facebook page:

Stop by if you get a chance.

I'm so happy I ran into your site via Blog Catalog. I pretty much gave up on it too but BC is still useful so I'm trying to use it where I can.

Nice one. Always good to be reminded of things in our lives to be thankful for. I, for one, am thankful that I don't I have to take the kids to school at 6 am.

P.P.S. I know you know the answer to that. The coincidence just freaked me out, since I had no idea who she was (yeah, under a rock over here) when I picked up the book.

Dang, you're productive.
(BTW, I grew up on your side of the state and still have many friends there. I still can't believe what's going down over there).

P.S. I've reading this book called "Bad Mother," - have you read? I'm not quite sure how I would rate it. Everything the author says rings true. I'm just getting a little weary from it. Meanwhile, guess who the author is married to?
